David Multer accepts Webby award on behalf of LinkedIn
Waverley's very own David Multer was chosen by LinkedIn (from over 11 million users) to accept one of their 2007 Webby awards in NYC. David is an active LinkedIn user who finds their social networking service a great tool for staying connected with other software professionals.
LinkedIn asked their user community to suggest a 5 word acceptance speech, and David's entry was selected as the winner. David flew to NYC and accepted the award with "Thanks for the endorsement". The speech is a simple phrase often used within the LinkedIn service when exchanging recommendations between users. These recommendations are an important part of what makes the LinkedIn service such a useful tool for a wide variety of professionals.
