Matt Brown

The founder of Waverley Software, Matt has always worked on the forefront of emerging technologies. He has tremendous experience in software development and has lead several engineering teams, both in the United States and internationally. He has worked in Macintosh software development, application and OS-level work for the Apple Newton, and application software implementation for numerous devices, including; Palm OS, PocketPC, Windows 32, PenPoint, and General Magic devices.

Prior to launching Waverley, Matt was the vice president and cofounder of Clearview Software. Clearview developed the award-winning SmartForm series of Macintosh-based products and was ultimately acquired by Claris Corporation (the Apple Computer spin-off, created in the mid 1980s). Matt also served as the Director of Device Engineering at fusionOne Inc., a startup company focused on creating an internet service capable of synchronizing customers’ various digital devices.

Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brown University, Magna Cum Laude.

David Multer

David has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and management, in large companies as well as startup ventures. He joined Waverley from Silverback Systems, a developer of networking and storage acceleration solutions. Prior to that he was Cofounder, CTO, and SVP of Engineering of fusionOne, a developer of carrier-class, synchronization software solutions. Before fusionOne, David held a variety of engineering and management positions at Agate Technologies, Moniker (acquired by Computer Associates), Meridian Data, NetManage, Apple, and Burroughs.

David holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
